Juba & Butters

So as you read in the title, I have an addiction.
I LOVE cats. No, I mean I really, really LOVE cats.

This shall we say, crazed obsession began before arriving to Italy, however while in Italy the crazed obsession only got worse.

My husband and I own two amazing beautiful cats.

Jubalee Jujubee and Leopold Butters

Here are some pics of our two "fur babies."

This is Juba.
I call her Juju, Jubes, Jubaka, Bee, Pretty Bee, and so on and so forth. I brought Juba into my life on November 21, 2008. I had recently lost my other cat, and was just browsing on Craigslist. I scrolled across an ad, and stopped. Once I clicked and saw the picture of Juba I knew she was mine. Believe me it wasn't sunshine and rainbows in the beginning. The day I brought her home she basically ripped apart my face. To this day she HATES dogs, and still does not like to have your face near hers. However she is a WONDERFUL cat, and I love her to pieces. In April of 2015, Juba became very sick, and was ultimately diagnosed with Feline Diabetes. Despite her condition, she continues to crack me up with all her little quirks, and has helped me tremendously over in Italy. I have grown so close to her over the past year, and am so glad I decided to bring her with me. I love ya Juba!

Toph and Butters...after a long day of work, with Toph napping Butters came up to cuddle. Autumn 2012
This is Butters.
Butters has lots of nicknames as well. Butts, Buttas, But-But, Leopold, Lepold (inside joke,) Sandy blonde, Baby Boy...you get the picture. Butters came into our lives In September of 2012. While in Italy one of our firends' cat had kittens and wanted to know if we wanted one. We were actually thinking about getting another cat for Juba, and thought the timing was perfect. However we were both picky about exactly what kind of cat we wanted. Topher's cat Tommy in the states has been around for years, and he is a very unique color. He's this really like orange-peach color; the exact color we wanted for our next cat. We certainly got lucky. Our friends' cat had 3 kittens and one was a light orange...and even better, a boy! Butters has been such a great addition to our little family, and I am so blessed every day to have not one, but two really great kitties to love.
